How are option prices charged?
OPTNS uses Shopify's Cart Transform function, so add-on prices are applied inside Shopify's checkout. You don't need hidden variant products or price-bump items in your catalog.
Where do shoppers' answers show up?
Every choice is saved on the order line item, so it appears in the order in Shopify admin, on packing slips that show line item properties, and in fulfillment apps.
Can an option add a real product to the cart?
Yes. Link a choice to any product and it is added to the cart as its own line item at its Shopify price, with inventory tracked normally.
